All the photos here are carte de visite (cdv's) or cabinet cards (the larger ones). Most of the dates are my best estimate, except when the date is usefully written on the back! - the dates are intended to be a useful general guide only.
Always consider that the photo may be a later reprint or copy as in a few examples below.
